Softball Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Linden-Kildare Tigers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Linden-Kildare, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Paris will challenge McLeod at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Linden-Kildare, they will face off against Chapel Hill at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Linden-Kildare is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.
