Basketball Recap: Brighton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eastridge last Tuesday, Brighton came back down to earth. The Brighton Bruins took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Webster Thomas Titans. The defeat continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Titans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Webster Thomas, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brighton will host Webster Schroeder at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Webster Schroeder will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Brighton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Webster Thomas, they will take on Hilton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Webster Thomas is facing Hilton at the right time seeing as Hilton is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
