Baseball Recap: Seton Hall Prep Wins High-Profile Match Against Hun

Seton Hall Prep faced Hun in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Pirates came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 7-3. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Roman Baldwin tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

On the hitting side, Jordan Burwell was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kaden Frei, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hun, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

As for Hun, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Allentown on the 29th.
