While Nottoway's win against Buckingham wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-44 victory over the Knights on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since February 4, 2025.

Nottoway's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Buckingham, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
