Stewart made his presence known in Emporia's 55-47 victory
In one of his most outstanding performances to date, Sheldon Stewart scored 22 points along with two steals, making Saturday's game his highest-scoring outing yet this season. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was his third in a row with two or more steals. For the season, Stewart has averaged 13.2 points, 2.1 steals, and 3.8 assists per match.
Stewart and Emporia will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Topeka at 7:30 p.m. Stewart will face off against Da'mykel Hales, Topeka's star point guard. Will Stewart turn in another gem to overcome Emporia? We'll have our answer very soon.
