Baseball Recap: Steinbrenner Comes Up Short

Steinbrenner fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Wesley Chapel on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Noah Corps made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and earned two runs and three stolen bases. He has become a key player for Steinbrenner: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-13 otherwise. Gabe Ortiz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
