Gallatin is 1-8 against Billings Senior since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Raptors will host the Broncs at 12:00 p.m. Gallatin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Gallatin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Belgrade, who was ranked ninth at the time (Gallatin was ranked 14th). The Raptors fell 10-7 to the Panthers on Saturday.

Madison Coleman led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Bassham, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Billings Senior fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Billings West on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 15-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears. The Broncs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Madi Ban was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Octavia Meyer was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Billings Senior's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Gallatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
