Tabernacle finds home court redemption against Tuscaloosa Home Educators

There's no place like home for the Tabernacle Torches, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road back in January. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-32 victory over Tuscaloosa Home Educators on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Tabernacle, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Amelia Arsenault and Lanie Westerberg certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Arsenault scored 18 points, while Westerberg scored 13 points. That was a full 56.3% of Tuscaloosa Home Educators' points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

The win got Tabernacle back to even at 4-4. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Tabernacle will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they will head out on the road to challenge the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
