Baseball Recap: Paramus Catholic Takes a Loss

If Paramus Catholic was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Cliffside Park last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paladins took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern Highlands Highlanders on Thursday. The Paladins haven't had much luck with the Highlanders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Paramus Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Northern Highlands, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Paramus Catholic will challenge Saddle Brook at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northern Highlands, they will square off against Bergenfield at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
