4A Northern recap November 5, 2013
Windsor added to the longest winning streak in 4A Northern this week by beating Greeley West, 14-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Mountain View lost to Loveland 53-28 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Corte Tapia made the biggest impact on defense this week as Windsor defeated the Spartans. The 6-foot-2 freshman grabbed 2 sacks.
Mike Zweigle put up the best numbers in passing as the Indians defeated the Mountain Lions. He finished with a total of 8 completions for 228 yards and 1 touchdown. Zweigle's favorite target this week was John Freismuth, who caught 2 passes for 102 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Freismuth. The Loveland star has 23 catches for 604 yards.
Tanner Bohm of the Chris Jones' team is only 53 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 145 carries Bohm has accumulated 947 yard this year.
Loveland led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Mountain View. Zweigle ran for 118 yards during the win.
