Softball Recap: Texas Wind Victorious

Texas Wind's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past the Benbrook Bobcats 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Texas Wind has posted since March 18, 2025.

Texas Wind's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jayleigh Potts, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one double. That home run was Potts' first of the season. Another was Whitley Shows, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
