Volleyball Game Preview: Sandy Pioneers vs. Clackamas Cavaliers + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Sandy Pioneers and the Clackamas Cavaliers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sandy will be strutting in after a victory while Clackamas will be coming in after a defeat.

Sandy took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past David Douglas 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Scots: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Clackamas came up short against Barlow on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Sandy's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Clackamas, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Sandy took their win against Clackamas in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
