Hillsboro came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Waco Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-15.

Charlee Mack paced Hillsboro's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mack got some help from Cloe Creech and her 14 assists. Mack was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Waco, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hillsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Itasca on the 23rd. As for Waco, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against McGregor on the 23rd.
