Baseball Recap: Beaver Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Beaver's offense. They fell 3-0 to the North Catholic Trojans on Wednesday. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Beaver saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Corob, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Beaver's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for North Catholic, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beaver will take on West Allegheny at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Catholic, they will square off against Upper St. Clair at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
