Basketball Recap: Eagle River Wolves vs. West Anchorage Eagles

The Eagle River Wolves's game on Friday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 42-35 to West Anchorage. Eagle River has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Eagle River still got an impressive performance from Brooklyn Rollman, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Darby Buyse, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and eight steals.

Eagle River dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.1 points per game. As for West Anchorage, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

Eagle River will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Anchorage, they will be playing at home against the Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
