Baseball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 10-15-1 to make it four. They fell just short of the Southwest Legacy Titans by a score of 1-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Brahmas were not able to get on the board.

As for Southwest Legacy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.

For Southwest Legacy's part, not much got past NATE ARAIZA, who gave up just three hits to keep MacArthur off the board. ARAIZA also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Titans are undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-12 otherwise.
