Washington put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mt. Vernon Wildcats. The Hatchets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.
Despite the loss, Mt. Vernon still got an impressive performance from Hannah McNeece, who had 25 digs and two aces.
Washington's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Mt. Vernon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Looking ahead, Washington will host Vincennes Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Vernon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against South Spencer on the 30th.
