Volleyball Game Preview: Apollo Hawks vs. Valley Vista Monsoon

The Apollo Hawks will challenge the Valley Vista Monsoon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Apollo didn't have quite enough to beat Shadow Ridge and fell 3-2. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apollo couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Shadow Ridge a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-31, 25-8, 22-25, 25-18, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Valley Vista came up short against Millennium on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-14.

Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Valley Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
