Baseball Recap: West Brook Comes Up Short

West Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Sterling Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 last Tuesday.

West Brook's loss dropped their record down to 5-18-1. As for Sterling, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

West Brook has already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Port Arthur Memorial on the 8th. As for Sterling, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Lee on the 8th.
