Softball Recap: Westbury Comes Up Short

Westbury fell victim to Milby and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 15-0 to the Milby Buffs. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Huskies were not able to get on the board.

Westbury is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Milby, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Coming up, Westbury will host Sharpstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westbury has given up an average of 17 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Milby, they will take on Galena Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
