Softball Recap: Jordan Snags Tenth Victory in Last 11 Games

Jordan won the last time they faced Hillside and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Hornets. Considering the Falcons have won 12 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jacqueline (JJ) Thornburg, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Sydney Cornwell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.4 runs. As for Hillside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

As of now, neither Jordan nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
