Trinity Christian entered their tilt with Oakcrest on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Oakcrest Chargers by a score of 47-40. The Gryphons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Despite the loss, Oakcrest still got an impressive performance from Mary Mehan, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 31 boards. Mehan also posted five blocks, which is notable because Oakcrest is 5-1 when she posts at least three blocks, but 2-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kate Newsome, who posted 12 points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Oakcrest, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Trinity Christian has already played their next game, a 66-11 win against Washington Latin Public Charter School on the 17th. Oakcrest has also already played their next contest (against Foxcroft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
