Softball Recap: Nelson Comes Up Short

Nelson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Sandy Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sandy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on May 1st.

Nelson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleigh Himebauch, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Sandy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-17.

As of now, neither Nelson nor Sandy have any future games scheduled.
