Basketball Recap: Cardinal Takes a Loss

Cardinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Mediapolis Bulldogs 84-40. The Comets lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in February of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-48 score last time.

Cardinal's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Mediapolis, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.

Cardinal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mediapolis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mid-Prairie on Thursday. Mid-Prairie has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three contests.
