Soccer Game Recap: Hempfield Area vs. Penn Hills + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norwin, Hempfield Area was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Penn Hills Indians a 1-0 shutout. Hempfield Area's winning goal came courtesy of Braden Crowe.

Hempfield Area picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Penn Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Hempfield Area and Penn Hills could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Spartans (ranked 241st) will meet Central Catholic (ranked 29th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Penn Hills will challenge Plum at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (173 vs. 9).
