After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Baylor, Dalton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 71-34 win over the Adairsville Tigers. The Catamounts not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 21st (when they won 79-12).

Adairsville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brooks Rutledge, who posted eight points and six boards. Barrett Fuller was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

Dalton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Adairsville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dalton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cartersville at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th. As for Adairsville, they will head out to face off against North Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Wolfpack's rather soft defense (which has allowed 58 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
