Baseball Recap: Crest Comes Up Short

Crest lost against West Franklin on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancers fell 10-5 to the Falcons. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Henry White was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Crest: the team is 15-4 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

Crest's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for West Franklin, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Franklin, they will challenge Osage City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
