Softball Game Preview: River Valley Raiders vs. Gallia Academy Blue Devils

River Valley hasn't had much luck against Gallia Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. River Valley has given up an average of 13.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

River Valley lost 16-1 to Wellston on Friday.

Meanwhile, Gallia Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Portsmouth on Monday and fell 6-5.

Ava Angel made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Gallia Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
