Valor College Prep entered their tilt with Lexington on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Tigers 3-0. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Valor College Prep took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Jentelle McNairl and Kerrington Corbin, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Sydney Garrett and her 18 assists. Anarela Mejias Ayala controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Valor College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Lexington, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 25-11.

Looking ahead, Valor College Prep will face off against Signal Mountain at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
