Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Pius X). They claimed a resounding 60-33 victory over the Grants Pirates. The win continues a trend for the Sartans in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won seven in a row.

St. Pius X's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for Grants, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, St. Pius X will venture away from home to take on Valencia at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Valencia will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something St. Pius X surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grants, they will welcome Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
