Baseball Recap: Blue Island Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Blue Island Eisenhower couldn't beat Argo on Tuesday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the third inning. The Cardinals lost 19-13 to the Argonauts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Argonauts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Monday.

Jo'Mari Dixon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Joel Barcena, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Blue Island Eisenhower has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Argo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-10.
