Recap: Caldwell vs. Smithville

There's no place like home for Smithville, bouncing back after a tough loss on the road. They came out on top against Caldwell by a score of 30-20 on Friday. Since Smithville won the last time these teams met, too, this is only more fuel for the fire driving Caldwell's future revenge.

Smithville started the game off right with 20 first-half points. Meanwhile, Caldwell couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 20-0 heading into the break. Although Smithville wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war.

The win got Smithville back to even at 5-5. Caldwell's loss pushes them down to 3-7.
