Soccer Recap: Phillips Academy Comes Up Short

If Phillips Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. Paul's last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Big Blue fell just short of the Northfield Mount Hermon Hoggers by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Phillips Academy were not able to make up for their loss to Northfield Mount Hermon from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Phillips Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Northfield Mount Hermon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillips Academy will welcome Austin Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northfield Mount Hermon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Choate Rosemary Hall School at 2:30 p.m.
