Soccer Recap: Hunt Comes Up Short

Hunt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jacksonville Cardinals. One reason for the loss might be Hunt's aggressive play style: Talon Mayo and Santiago Herrera were both handed yellow cards.

Hunt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Jacksonville, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

Looking ahead, Hunt will head out to challenge Nash Central at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hunt will be up against Nash Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jacksonville, they will take on New Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
