John Paul II Catholic was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans. Considering the Saints have won eight contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alana Albritton was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two triples. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makayla Cox, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: John Paul II Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 10-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win (which was John Paul II Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 13-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Coming up, John Paul II Catholic will challenge GRACE Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th. The Saints will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last 11 games. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they will face off against Triad Baptist Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
