Palestine is 6-1 against Center since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Palestine Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Center Roughriders at 6:15 p.m. Both are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Palestine is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since January 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Bullard by a score of 42-40. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Center didn't have quite enough to beat Rusk on Tuesday and fell 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Roughriders have suffered against the Eagles since December 10, 2019.

Center has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Palestine, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.
