South Eugene won against Gresham last Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. South Eugene was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Springfield Millers. The Axe have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Millers, too.
Charlie Binstadt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Binstadt was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
