After a string of four wins, South Hardin's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell to the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines 54-49. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 62-46 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Dike-New Hartford, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9.

South Hardin has already played their next contest (against Hampton-Dumont/CAL), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dike-New Hartford will challenge Grundy Center at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Grundy Center knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 games -- so hopefully Dike-New Hartford likes a good challenge.
