Vernon has gone 9-1 against Henrietta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Vernon Lions challenge the Henrietta Bearcats at 3:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Henrietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-37 heartbreaker at the hands of Holliday. The contest marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Henrietta, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
