Brookville came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Clearfield, but Ev Maines wouldn't allow it. The Bison managed a 62-56 win over the Raiders on Saturday thanks in part to Maines, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 31 points and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played.

Brookville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Josh Semeyn, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isaac Burkett, who posted 12 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Clearfield and bumps their season record up to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Brookville, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
