Snowflake waltzed into their match on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Holbrook Roadrunners with a sharp 3-0 win. The Lobos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Roadrunners, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Snowflake was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-9.

Leading Snowflake to victory were Amrie Lewis and Lucy Lyman. Lewis had six digs and six aces, while Lyman had nine digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Lyman a new career-high in assists (five).

Snowflake's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Holbrook, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Coming up, Snowflake will head out to challenge Higley at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Holbrook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monument Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
