Baseball Recap: Providence Hall Gets the Win

Providence Hall won against Summit Academy last Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Providence Hall came out on top against the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs by a score of 11-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Ayden Rose, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Jordan Black was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Providence Hall and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Judge Memorial Catholic will square off against Emery at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Providence Hall will be paying especially close attention to Judge Memorial Catholic's contest: after Judge Memorial Catholic faces off against Summit Academy, they'll take on Providence Hall again at 3:30 p.m. on April 8.
