Leola/Frederick put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They escaped with a win against the Waubay/Summit Mustangs by the margin of a single free throw, 51-50. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Leola/Frederick's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for Waubay/Summit, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leola/Frederick will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Waubay/Summit will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] at 5:00 p.m. on December 30th. Waubay/Summit has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests.
