Daniel Boone came out on top against Tennessee on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Trailblazers skirted past the Vikings 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Trailblazers: when they faced off against the Vikings back in April, they had to take a 7-5 defeat.

Emmi Croley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on McKenzie Shivers, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aggie Greer, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Daniel Boone hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.

Daniel Boone's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-17. As for Tennessee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

As of now, neither Daniel Boone nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
