Soccer Recap: Friendship Christian Takes a Loss

Friendship Christian was the 4-1 winner over Crossroads Christian when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 5-3 to the Colts on Friday. Friendship Christian's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Friendship Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Crossroads Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Friendship Christian will face off against St. Thomas More Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Crossroads Christian, they will take on Cape Fear Christian Academy in a tournament on Thursday. Crossroads Christian will be up against Cape Fear Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.63 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
