Baseball Recap: Garfield Heights Takes a Loss

The Garfield Heights Bulldogs came up short against the Richmond Heights Spartans on Wednesday and fell 15-10.

Ian Case made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Stephon Jones, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

Garfield Heights' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Richmond Heights, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coincidentally, Garfield Heights and Richmond Heights will both be playing Maple Heights the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
