Softball Recap: St. John's Cadets vs. Sidwell Friends Quakers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. John walked away with it. They came out on top against the Sidwell Friends Quakers by a score of 5-1 on Sunday. The win continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Quakers: they've now won six in a row.
Sidwell Friends' batters probably weren't too happy with Skylar Kass, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (she gave up three walks).
At the plate, Eliana Jarboe and Ava Baxter did most of the damage at the plate: Jarboe went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Baxter went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
