Softball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Northwood's offense. They fell just short of the Churchill Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Gladiators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Northwood's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Churchill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Northwood by a score of 7-0 later that day.
