Basketball Game Preview: Twin River Titans vs. Ravenna Bluejays

The Twin River Titans will square off against the Ravenna Bluejays at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Twin River is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Twin River had to suffer through a 60-26 loss at the hands of Humphrey-Lindsay. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Ravenna posted their closest win since January 3rd on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Gibbon 48-45. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Ravenna's win came from a few key players Twin River will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Emmarie Lutz, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. Those 11 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reannon Siegel, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Ravenna smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Twin River's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Ravenna, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-18.
