Baseball Recap: Southeastern Takes a Loss

Southeastern blew Cody out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Cody got their revenge. The Junagleers fell just short of the Comets by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Junagleers have suffered against the Comets since May 8, 2024.

Southeastern now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Cody, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeastern will welcome Ford at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cody, they will face off against Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
